Electric track

Will spikes keep birds off a whole flat roof?
No. Spikes are for narrow edges. For open areas and flat roofs, specify netting or in some cases post-and-wire around parapets.
Can I just glue on cheap plastic spikes?
You can, but expect failure. UV exposure makes plastic brittle, adhesives fail on dirty stone, and gaps at corners invite birds straight back. Professional stainless systems last and look better.
Are spikes visible from the street?
