EXCELLENT Based on 437 reviews Posted on Spencer RichardsTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Mark came & saw us with a mouse issue. Was very knowledgeable & carried out a survey of the premises. We have used the firm before - very reliable & flexible with appointments. Gave piece of mind & fees are very good.Posted on Jac BarsTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had a problem with our loft electrics being chewed and stripped. Our initial thoughts were mice or squirrels, but on talking to Mark he was pretty certain it was in fact Parakeets. On his arrival at our property he confirmed within minutes that it was parakeets and exactly where they had got into the roof. Through an external extractor fan cover which they had broken through and nested in our eaves (who knew!). Mark really knew his stuff re their behaviour and was excellent, fixing the issue quickly and efficiently. I’d not hesitate to use him again for any pest problems we have in the future.Posted on Rishi HTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Mark was great, contacted me past working hours and came out the following day. Had a rat in the toilet drain, he came, laid bait and advised on remedial action. Really helpful and would recommend him to anyone!Posted on Neil RamsdenTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Just had solar panel bird protection fitted. very neat and very happy with the service I highly recommend. Much better than the plastic ones used by a lot of solar companies!Posted on ElliottEKATrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. A&H Pest Control were excellent from start to finish. They came round same day I called, confirmed the noise was mice after finding droppings, and thoroughly laid poison in all the affected areas. They were professional, knowledgeable, and explained everything clearly. After about 10 days the noise completely stopped, which shows the treatment worked. Very happy with the service and would definitely recommend A&H Pest ControlPosted on Camilla DeweyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We used A&H for pest control. Excellent service and Mark was very responsive and helpful. Would highly recommend.Posted on Will FairleyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Top guy, top service! We heard noises in our roof space, saw the brilliant reviews, and contacted Mark who came round the next day. Based on our conversation, and even with extremely limited access to the roof space, he thought a squirrel may have moved in; he set two traps and returned a week or so later when we felt we hadn’t heard noises for a few days. Mark was right; a squirrel had been caught and the problem is now solvedPosted on Jp DavieTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Professional and quickPosted on Gerald MasonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Mark had been fantastic helping us with a pest problem in our cellar. He comes out quickly, explains clearly what the issue is, answers any questions we have, and is very professional. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him. Thanks Mark!
You want contaminated areas made safe quickly, without guesswork on price or timings. This page explains how we price post-pest cleaning, what’s included in a professional scope (from dust suppression to disinfection and odour control), how scheduling works for homes and businesses, and the simple steps that keep your overall cleaning cost sensible. A&H operates across London & Southern England with clear quotes, flexible appointments and tidy, documented results. Call 020 8295 3402 for a fast plan.
We price by what’s real on your site: the type and volume of residues, access (lofts, roof edges, confined voids), level of decontamination required, and any agreed extras such as insulation replacement or minor proofing. Photos often let us quote immediately; for complex jobs we perform a short survey. Your quote sets out the scope, safety controls, products, documentation and schedule—no hidden extras.
Light rodent fouling under kitchen kickboards is quicker than layered pigeon guano on a plant deck. Post-infestation cleaning for insect residues in cupboards costs less than full high-level cleaning with insulation removal. The more material, the longer the job.
Lofts need boards and lighting; roofs may need edge protection; service risers have confined-space considerations. Safe access takes planning but prevents damage and keeps technicians productive. We’ll outline the safest, most efficient approach.
All professional work includes dust suppression and disinfection with contact time. Costs change when we add odour source treatments for soaked timbers, remove contaminated insulation, or clean ventilation terminals and ducts.
Waste must be sealed, transported cleanly and disposed of responsibly. Commercial clients often need photos and a service report. This is part of a compliant job and included in our pricing.
Fitting door brush strips, vent guards or sealing obvious service penetrations during the same visit is cost-effective. It prevents paying for the same post-infestation cleaning twice.
You’ll get a defined arrival window and a clear duration estimate. We protect access routes, brief you on re-entry times, and keep odour low. If loft insulation needs replacing, we may split works over two visits to ensure thorough decontamination before reinstatement.
We plan around service hours, deliveries and production. Out-of-hours is available. We coordinate with facilities and hygiene teams, and we issue service notes suitable for audits.
We book a single visit: damp-lift, disinfection, rinse, and tidy finish. Roughly half a day, depending on spread and appliances.
Day 1: removal, disinfection, odour source treatment. Day 2: insulation reinstatement (to current standards) and final tidy.
Access plan plus layered removal, disinfection, controlled rinse without run-off, and recommendations such as netting or spikes. Often a full day for heavy deposits.
Terminal cleaning and disinfection, guards fitted, with optional collaboration with your duct hygiene contractor for internal runs.
Often yes. For complex roofs or lofts, or heavy high-level cleaning, we may confirm with a short survey.
Yes—packaging, transport and compliant disposal are part of our scope.
We keep emergency slots where health risks are high. Call 020 8295 3402 and we’ll offer the earliest suitable appointment.
When source materials are removed and disinfection is complete, most odour drops quickly. Porous timbers may need a sealing coat; we’ll advise on site.
We guarantee the cleaning work performed and will flag any fabric defects (for example, ongoing leaks) that could re-contaminate areas.
Tell us what you’ve found and where. We’ll scope post-pest cleaning, confirm disinfection steps, plan disposal and minor proofing, and book you a convenient slot. Call 020 8295 3402.
